Robert Severson, born in Duluth, Minnesota,
in 1932, is also a shareholder in the firm.
He graduated from the University of North
Dakota School of Law in 1959. Bob has spent
the majority of his career concentrating
on trial practice. He served as Assistant
Beltrami County Attorney from 1960 - 1962
and Assistant Kittson County Attorney from
1967 - 1991, and from 1994 to the present
time. The American Board of Trial Advocates has ranked Mr. Severson as an Associate for having
at least eight (8) years of active experience as a trial lawyer and having tried a minimum of fifty (50) civil jury trials to a verdict in a court of general jurisdiction or a federal court. In addition, Mr. Severson has been selected as a Leading Minnesota Attorney
by the Leading Attorney Network (fewer than 8% of Minnesota's attorneys are selected). Mr. Severson is now in his 50th year of practicing law in civil litigation
and workers' compensation, personal injury,
insurance, banking and general law.
